England is known for having some of the world’s most passionate football fans. While this is a point of pride, it can be taken to an extreme when fans resort to violence and vandalism—often broadly called hooliganism. English hooligans have earned a particular reputation over the past century for occasionally harmful behavior.

One of my consistent beliefs on our current crisis is that it will be the defining moment for many organizations and leaders. Regardless of how people remember their own circumstances, I’m convinced they will have long-lasting memories of how others treated them.

During lock down we have all had time to reflect on what is important in life and how much time we actually spend on what really matters. We experienced the importance of family and human connection along with the need for community spirit.
